A few days after getting my keys back. I lost them again.
They’d fallen out of my pocket while walking. I backtraced my steps and found them.
Two pairs of running shoes.
I managed to lose two pairs of running shoes sometime this year. Did I lose them at the work lockerroom (where I’ve lost things before?)
Either way – annoying. $500 worth of shoes.
Keys.
They must have fallen out of my pocket while cycling to work.
Got to work to lock up my bike, couldn’t find them, so I retraced my steps, to no avail.
Am hoping that someone hands them into the police station today.
Update: Found. Neighbour found them.
Moral of the story: Don’t cycle with things in your pockets, unless you have zippable pockets.
In other news, I found an iPhone on the road today.
A piece of paper with someone’s contact details on.
Description: I talked to the owner of a local cafe/art gallery about promoting their exhibitions. She gave me the number of the person organising the next exhibition on a piece of paper. I put it in my pocket, but couldn’t find it when I got home.
A slow cooker.
Description: A decent slow cooker I found in an op shop.
A flatmate moved out on the weekend, and tonight I noticed I can’t find my slow cooker. I asked her if she’d taken my one and she reckons it was her different one she took. I believe her, and I think I just hadn’t noticed until now that my one has gone missing.
Debit card.
It wasn’t in my wallet. Lost somewhere. I don’t know. Zomg.
Headphones.
Description: A nice pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones. Slightly broken, having some tape to keep the cup in place, due to the tiniest piece of plastic breaking.
These headphones audio quality and comfort is decent, but I don’t particularly rate them. It annoys me how they broke like that, so to be honest I don’t particularly miss them. I like my Sennheisser HD555s a lot more – they’re much more comfortable and durable.
Lost where?: I don’t know. I suspect I either left them on the bus, or at a bar. I asked at the bar, but apparently they haven’t turned up.
Wallet.
Containing: ~$40 cash. Credit card. Driver’s license. Gym access card.
Left on the bus.
I’ve rung lost property, but they haven’t called back.
Sooooo annoying.
TV Remote
I myself haven’t necessarily lost it, but it is lost.
Work swipe card.
Where?: I don’t know. It’s usually attached to my pants, but it went missing. Pretty sure it’s lost now.
